Gluten free, vegan
|1 cup almond milk|
|1 tbsp maple syrup|
|2 tbsp gluten-free plain flour|
|1 tbsp nutritional yeast|
|1 tsp ground cinnamon|
|Pinch of sea salt|
|Flannerys Own extra virgin coconut oil|
|6 slices crusty GF bread (check for milk and egg ingredients to ensure its vegan-friendly)|
- 1. Whisk together milk, maple syrup, flour, yeast, cinnamon and sea salt in a small jug until combined.
- 2. Heat oil in a medium frypan. Place one bread slice in a shallow dish with sides, pour over a small amount of mixture slowly to coat all sides, then cook for a few minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 3. Repeat for all slices. Serve with maple syrup and fresh fruit.
