makes: 4
Ingredients:
- 4 red apples
- 1 cup organic oats
- ¼ cup almond meal
- ¼ cup pecans
- ¼ cup coconut sugar
- 2 tbsp sultanas
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp grass-fed butter, cold
- 500ml Mungalli Biodynamic Pouring Cream
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180’C.
- Wash and core apples.
- In a medium bowl, add all ingredients and combine. As the butter is cold, it may be easiest to use your hands, rubbing the mixture and butter between your fingers until crumble-consistency is formed.
- Place apples in a small-medium baking dish. Generously fill apples with crumble mixture, allowing a nice overflow on top. Pour water into the base of the baking dish, filling 1cm from the bottom.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until apples are tender to touch.
- Serve apples warm with Mungalli Biodynamic Pouring Cream and/or ice cream.
