These autumn smoothie bowls are based on seasonal autumn fruits including bananas and strawberries. Bananas and strawberries are rich sources of fibre, antioxidants, and multiple vitamins and minerals including, vitamin C, folate, magnesium and potassium. These smoothie bowls are not only a great way to start your day, but they are also super quick and easy to make!
Tips
For a thick creamy consistency it’s important to use frozen fruit and minimal milk.
If you can, blend on a low setting and use a tamper to push the frozen fruit towards the blades, until thoroughly mixed. The blender I recommend using

INGREDIENTS
For the smoothie: |
¼ cup of plant milk |
4 frozen bananas |
1 cup of frozen strawberries or pink pitaya (dragonfruit) |
1 tsp of Nutra Organics’ Beetroot & Turmeric Velvet Latte (optional) |
Protein powder of your choice |
Toppings: |
Fresh fruit such as berries, figs & kiwifruit |
OWN goji berries |
OWN shredded coconut |
Loving Earth Activated Buckinis |
Peanut butter (optional) |
METHOD
1. Prepare the smoothie by adding all the smoothie ingredients to a high-speed blender. If the mixture is too thick, add some more milk.
2. Divide the smoothie mixture into two bowls and top with fresh fruit, goji berries, buckinis and coconut.
