Ceylon cinnamon is native to India and Sri Lanka and is known for its therapeutic properties. Cinnamon contains antioxidants and can have anti-inflammatory benefits in the body. Cinnamon is great for modulating blood sugar levels and can help reduce sugar cravings.
Ingredients:
2 large sweet potatoes
1 tbsp Cinnamon
1 heaped tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil or Coconut oil
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees
- Cut sweet potato into desired size
- Combine spices and oil and coat potato
- Bake for 40 – 45 minutes or until cooked
