On Thursday Fran and Monica headed to ABC Sunshine Coast to chat with Mary-Lou Stephens at ‘Cooking the Books’ about the Kunara WARM cookbook. They took along delicious samples of the tahini muffins and the vegan baked custard, so the ABC office was excited to see them! Mary-Lou had made the millet gnocchi for dinner the week before and was thrilled to find the recipe quick and easy, the gnocchi really light and fluffy. Moni agreed that working with the less popular grains such as millet and amaranth is not difficult and yields really great results when you have a few simple recipes. These grains are often easy to digest and offer loads of variety in a diet without gluten. We’ll keep you posted on the date that the interview will go to air. Meanwhile, check out all the amazing recipes in WARM here and purchase your copy online or in store!
