A bowl full of goodness!

From the Amazonian rainforest to Australian shores, kick-start your day with an incredibly healthy and delicious açai bowl! Açai (pronounced ‘ah-sigh-ee’) is a cherry-sized purple berry from the açai palm, native to Brazil. Amazonians have described the açai palm as the most important plant species to them, with the açai berry being essential in their diet to treat parasites and protect them against disease.

A powerhouse of antioxidants, fibre, vitamin A and minerals, starting your day with an açai bowl means your nourishing your mind and body from the get-go. The distinctive vibrant purple colour of açai is a combination of healthy compounds that help defend the body against harsh free radicals. It also contains some of the same oils found in olive oil, which helps protect the heart against disease and acts as an anti-inflammatory. And the bonus? It’s low in sugar! If you tend to crave sugar, come and try an açai bowl and you’ll fuel up on all the natural goodness, rather than added artificial sugars found in a lot of other processed foods.

We all want to feed our body with highly nutritious food without spending too long in the kitchen, so there’s no wonder açai bowls have become so popular in Australia. With our hot temperatures, the cold and smooth texture of açai has become the perfect breakfast or go-to snack, or even as a healthy dessert option.

At Kunara, we make our açai bowls fresh with your favourite toppings; whether you love crunchy granola, freshly cut fruit or even cacao nibs.

Our Kunara Organic Cafe has just launched Acai bowls, and for the month of March they have an amazing special on.. $6 Acai Bowls

Wow , as a Coeliac I visit Kunara frequently when on holidays but have never seen such an amazing Acai bowl like this!! Strawberries & mint are such a wonderful condiment, just brilliant. Can almost taste it just looking at the picture. Well done to the creator, what a future this person has!! See you in July!
