
Bircher muesli is rich in flavour from apple, coconut, cinnamon, honey and dried fruit. Being soaked in almond milk gives a delicious creamy flavour, plus adds more protein and vitamins to an already nutrient-rich breakfast! Oats contain beta glucans which are good for cholesterol plus they’re high in fibre to keep you full.
Vegan (using maple syrup), vegetarian, GMO free
INGREDIENTS
| 2 cups organic rolled oats |
| 1/2 cup shredded coconut |
| 1/2 tsp cinnamon |
| 1/4 cup goji berries |
| 1/4 cup dried cranberries |
| 1/4 cup sultanas |
| 2 organic red apples, chopped |
| 2 tbsp raw honey (use maple syrup for a vegan alternative) |
| 2 1/2 cups almond milk |
METHOD
- 1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours to soak.
- 2. Serve with your favourite yoghurt and raw nuts.
