With the warm weather upon us, it’s nice to start the day with something refreshing and quick that will keep us sustained for the morning whilst energising our bodies.
INGREDIENTS
Smoothie bowl: |
1 heaping cup organic frozen mixed berries |
1 ripe banana, sliced and frozen |
2-3 tbsp coconut or almond milk, plus more if needed |
Optional – 1 scoop plain or vanilla protein powder of choice |
Toppings: |
1 tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut (desiccated) |
1 tbsp chia seeds |
1 tbsp hemp seeds |
2 tbsp Veganola |
1/2 apple sliced |
Choice of berries |
METHOD
1. Combine all smoothie bowl ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
2. Serve in a bowl and add toppings of your choice.
3. Enjoy!
